As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will join a young, energetic and international team split into different business units. Together, we ensure that all invoices we receive are recorded and processed in a timely and precise manner while connecting inputs from the vendors, Operating Countries, and the greater Finance team to solve challenges that may arise during invoice processing through to payments.

  • Timely and accurately process the invoices (PO being glasses, frames, sunglasses, accessories etc), Freight, and RFH (edging and mountain)
  • Support to periodically perform vendor’s statement reconciliation and fix all findings by registering the invoice and credit notes
  • Responsible to register purchase order (PO) invoices, ensuring invoices are approved via a 3 way match (PO, GRN, Invoice)
  • Responsible for pro-actively follow up differences in matching invoices, contacting vendors, logistic/operation and Opcos to solve differences.
  • Responsible for managing cluster’s incoming invoice email box, including invoices on time in Kofax and being in contact with the vendors
  • Responsible for preparing and sending weekly WFGR report (missing GR for manual process) in absence of the senior
  • Support internal and external Auditing by providing all requested documents, reconciliations, detailed level explanations, and anticipating issues looking ways to mitigate the risks.
  • Ad-hoc support and activities for financial subjects

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Associate’s Degree (MBO) in Finance, business or with relevant experience
  • One year experience as a AP Junior or similar activity
  • Knowledge of SAP (Plus)
  • Knowledge of Basware, Kofax, Power BI (Plus)
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in retail industry is preferred
  • Experience with 3-way match invoice processing (goods or service) is preferable


Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract will be offered with a view to extend.

Workplace type: Hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.

Salary: We pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
