The HQ of GrandVision is located at Schiphol Airport. From here shared services are provided to country organizations in the areas of supply chain, information technology, finance, human resources, and category management. The scope of these shared services is increasing with the expansion of our business and integration of additional systems. The finance department of the HQ is responsible for the financial accounting, reporting and administration of activities in the organization: global supply chain, global IT, global product categories, corporate holdings and functions including the management board, group finance, legal, treasury and others. The Accounts Payable team is responsible for all invoices that are recorded. The team consists of more than 12 members.

Ensure that all invoices of GrandVision’s companies are properly recorded and accurately reflected in the accounts of the companies. Individual tasks include:

  • Support internal and external Auditing by providing all requested documents, reconciliations, detailed level explanations, and anticipating issues looking ways to mitigate the risks.
  • Ad-hoc support and activities for financial subjects.
  • Responsible for creating and changing Vendor in MDG (SAP master data approval flow)
  • Timely process the invoices (PO being glasses, frames, sunglasses, accessories etc), Freight, RFH (edging and mountain).
  • Support to periodically perform vendor’s statement reconciliation and fix all findings by registering the invoice and credit notes.
  • Responsible to register purchase order (PO) invoices, ensuring invoices are approved via a 3 way match (PO, GRN, Invoice).
  • Responsible for matching POs, invoices, and goods receipt.
  • Responsible for pro-actively follow up differences in matching invoices, contacting vendors and procurement department to solve differences.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Associate degree (MBO) in Finance, business or with relevant experience.
  • 1 year experience as a AP Junior or similar activity.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Plus).
  • Knowledge of Basware, Kofax, Power BI (Plus).
  • knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience in retail industry is preferred.
  • Experience with 3-way match invoice processing (goods or service) is preferable.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Highly adaptable to new environments and change.
  • Natural ability to embrace learning and development through experience.
  • Initiative and willingness to challenge the status quo. Hands on mentality.
  • High level of energy and ambition to realize a positive impact.
  • Positive, customer first, can-do attitude.
  • Committed and reliable with the company.
