Job Title

Brand Digital Marketing Manager

Reports to

Sun Business Unit Director

Main purpose of the role

Digitally influenced sales is a key strategic pillar for GrandVision with the objective of 25% of total sales influenced digitally on 2025 vs 10% on 2020. The Brand Digital Marketing Manager and the team are primarily responsible for global digital marketing and sales of sunglasses. You will lead the execution and effectiveness of the digital marketing activities with a focus on customer acquisition and retention. You will translate brand marketing and communication strategies into discretionary digital marketing actions and investments and drives the cross-functional priorities and activities working hand in hand with marketing, CX&D team and OpCo digital teams. As a leader and facilitator, you will champion cross-functional teamwork and create an inclusive team environment that inspires a diversity of perspectives and bold ideas


  1. Annual Digital Marketing Plan

  • Develop comprehensive annual digital marketing strategy for sunglasses globally
  • Align with all stakeholder for annual digital marketing strategy and develop it into actionable digital marketing plan with continuous activations. EB, IB, NEB & KCM promotions as ready to implement 360 digital toolkit
  • Brief brand suppliers on the creation and delivery of digital assets
  • Coordinate with OpCo’s, CX&D and suppliers to ensure successful implementation of digital marketing plan with the objective of generating extra traffic, and conversion rate increase
  • Create a set of SMART objectives and generate business KPIs to track digital marketing plan
  • Create dashboarding to enable smooth and transparent tracking of KPIs
  • Transform Sun Boost Online community into Boost Online community for all categories

  1. Global Social Media

  • Social media strategy development. Turn the strategy in actionable social media plan. Generate content and facilitate smooth interchange to OpCo’s
  • Recruitment and management of relations with external agencies for strategy creation and implementation
  • Develop Sun Ambassador program into Global Influencer program with 1000+ influencers working for GV for free products
  • Transform Global Sun Social Media into Global Social Media

  1. Accelerate online sales of key value drivers

  • Direct and lead the development of digital opportunities from idea conception to full execution and program management through project life cycle that delivers on initiative objectives

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Marketing, engineering, business administration, communication related university degree, or equivalent

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • 8+ years of experience in online marketing
  • Global HQ experience / fashion experience is a plus
  • Demonstrates an exceptionally high-level understanding of digital and ecommerce led from data
  • Ability to present complex ideas in simple ways to large, senior audiences
  • Confidence to be the expert in digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of the digital landscape including e- commerce, performance marketing, social media and influencer marketing
  • Proven experience building successful customer partnerships and collaborative plans

  • Proven record leading teams and strong communication skills are vital, as the position will place you at the heart of the business interacting with a range of stakeholders
  • You will have a positive mindset with an exceptional passion for winning combined with a strong interest & enthusiasm for digital and ecommerce; must seek and deliver fresh opportunities whilst demonstrating an ability to deliver as part of a team
