Business Analyst - Customer Analytics and Insights

As our Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess customer-centric marketing processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to the management and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple data sets to deliver valuable BI dashboards such as customer´s profiling, marketing campaigns performance and online & retail sales funnels identifying KPIs to improve efficiencies adding value to the marketing´s funnel
  • Identifying and then prioritizing technical and functional requirements from a broad set of business stakeholders: Marketing, CRM, Customer Service, and IT as well as senior management to streamline, inform, and otherwise support the effectiveness of their day-to-day
  • Identifying the underlying data sources needed to deliver operational and commercial use cases; estimate the amount of effort required to deliver a data integration, build a data pipeline, and deliver data to front-end Salesforce and eCommerce platforms.
  • Creating detailed analysis to advise business operations, outlining platforms/ integrations/ data-points/ end-users problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Interpreting a wide range of data available to you… becoming the singular expert in how best to serve our hundreds of millions of customers worldwide

About you:

We are looking for professionals with both hard and soft skills. You know how to pull, analyze and report data trends, and be able to share that information with others and apply it on the business side. You are passionate in understanding how systems, platforms, and data integrations work. A customer obsessed and data-driven mindset who show openness, willpower, drive and is challenged of working in a fast-paced environment. You understand urgency and are not afraid to commit to challenging timelines. You can deal with an amount of uncertainty, understand the complexity of data and are able to challenge users at several levels.

We also believe you have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in business analysis, data integration/engineering process and data visualization – defining KPIs and building dashboards is your thing!
  • Project management skills – you´ll be managing multiple project workstreams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you know the importance of building cross functional relationships and collaborate with all professional levels
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of networks, databases and customer-centric technologies – you´ll be working with SQL, Power BI, Google Analytics and Salesforce platforms
  • A bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Science or relevant direction
  • You are English fluent living in NL or willing to relocate to NL.

About the team you will be joining:

A tech-native, largely remote, highly independent, senior team of data professionals, responsible for managing the entire customer data value chain for nearly a hundred million retail consumers across over two dozen companies and growing: from data capture to analysis, dataviz to data science, marketing automation and personalization to customer service, clienteling software development to data privacy compliance and GDPR. Keeping pace with the speed of its expanding scope, the team has grown from 5 people to 70+ over the past 3 years – a testament to its central role in the digital transformation of a truly global retail leader – and to the quality of its people and the results they deliver.


Our workplace is hybrid; we offer the flexibility to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
