Your responsibilities as Business Analyst Customer Analytics

As our Business Analyst Customer Analytics, you will accelerate Grand Vision’s global omni-channel businesses through effective coordination of our super advanced Customer 360 technology platform for data-driven personalization across Marketing, Sales & Service. The platform is made of following components - Customer Data Platform (CDP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud CRM and Marketing Automation, Salesforce Service Cloud Omni-channel Customer Service Desk, Customer Golden Record 360, and Data Lake for Data Science & Machine Learning algorithms. Your further responsibilities include:

  • Implementing platform rollouts simultaneously to multiple markets. We expect you to ensure quality in gathering business requirements and commercial uses cases from markets and their CRM Marketing teams, AdTech & Digital Marketing teams, eCommerce teams, IT teams as well as Store Operations teams.
  • Identifying the underlying data sources needed to deliver the business needs and use cases; estimate the amount of effort required to deliver data integration, building data pipeline and delivery of data to front-end channels such as Salesforce CRM or eCommerce to execute on agreed use cases.
  • Gathering requirements by liaising with internal and external agencies to estimate effort required and create solutions to configure Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Service Cloud .
  • Structuring these business requirements into high-level workstreams, and cooperating on a daily basis with CX&D Data Engineers, Data Architects, Global Head of Data Architecture, Global Director of Data Science & Analytics, external consultants as well as coordinating the execution of these workstreams with the requisite stakeholders with our markets and primarily in their marketing and IT teams
  • Interacting as a key player – coordinating both global and local teams – in rolling out next-gen technology platforms as part of a large multinational retailer’s digital transformation.

Your profile

We are looking for an eager and customer obsessed Business Analyst; quality is key, and in the end the customer determines if you are successful. You are very fast in understanding urgency and not afraid to commit to challenging timelines. You have a strong ‘can do’ attitude, a no-nonsense realist, and are always looking for options to get the job done. You can deal with an amount of uncertainty, understand the complexity of data and are able to challenge users at several levels. Furthermore, you meet the following criteria:

  • a bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Science or relevant direction;
  • at least 4 years’ experience in the business side of data (use cases and business needs) and have a good basic understanding on data integration /engineering and data science;
  • preferably a strategy consulting background with ability to structure projects, identify key questions and business needs and assess what needs to be done to deliver on those needs;
  • hands-on experience in CRM marketing automation tools, CDP, Service, or data science platforms is a plus;
  • able to demonstrate change leadership, continuous improvement, and process management;
  • capability to anticipate and communicate issues /risks well in advance;
  • highly adaptable to new environments, new people, new culture; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience;
  • high level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact;
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to affectively collaborate with all professional levels across many different countries and culture;
  • excellent communication skills in English (fluent), mastering Spanish is a plus.
  • living in NL or willing to relocate to NL.


Our workplace is hybrid; we offer the flexibility to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
