As our FP&A Business Controller, you will have the opportunity to participate in the performance review, budget control and forecasting of our sales in all 40 countries in which GrandVision operates. You will work together with the rest of your team on improving the regular processes to make them more efficient. You will directly communicate with the Cluster Controllers and other functions to collect commercial data from our Operating Countries, analyse it and create a feasible outlook for the current and coming months and years. You will bring the numbers to life to understand our performance as a company, identify possible points of improvement and present your results to the management team along with your advice on how GrandVision can become a better organization.

As part of the FP&A team, you will become one of the main change agents that will action part of this integration within the finance department while keeping close contact with the management team.

  • Development of Global Financial Forecasting and Dashboarding capabilities.
  • Development of data and reporting structure.
  • Drive strategy realization.
  • Co-responsible for budget process and templates.
  • Periodical and ad-hoc analysis on results and foresights.
  • Decision support for strategic investments.
  • Participate in and follow up on audits/projects.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • University degree in business administration, business economics and/or management control.
  • > 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A.
  • Strong experience in finance business partnering in cooperation with Senior Management.
  • Strong affinity and experience with Forecasting, Dashboarding, data, automatization and optimizing processes.
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and knowledge. Hyperion knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with working in a multinational environment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of English (written & spoken).
  • Positive, customer first, can do attitude.
  • Proactive and strong team player but not afraid to challenge.
  • High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact.
  • Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience.
  • High level of integrity and leading by example.


Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract may initially be offered with a view to extend.

Workplace type: hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.

Salary: We pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
