As Business Controller IT, you will be responsible for management reporting, forecasting, decision support and control over the P&L and Capex of the overhead function of our IT department. In your role as strategic sparring partner, you know how to create “business impact’ by providing meaningful financial information, analysis and insights. In this new global role, you will work closely together with the overhead departments and country organization.

GrandVision is a dynamic, agile and stable organization. In combination with EssilorLuxottica, you will become the financial controller and business partner supporting exciting IT initiatives and facilitating the integration of such projects across both GrandVision and EssilorLuxottica.

You will have a lot of exposure working directly with the Group CIO and CFO and their management teams. Working side by side with these stakeholders in a global headquarter you are used to tight deadlines and prioritization comes natural to you; you are not afraid of bringing new ideas to the table and rolling up your sleeves when challenges arise.


  • Drive overhead controlling and business partnering for the IT HQ Departments.
  • Support in monthly department P&L analysis supporting management review.
  • Assist in producing ad-hoc analysis supporting management decisions.
  • Optimize and further automate reporting structure and processes.
  • Participate in transfer pricing calculation for intra-group services.
  • Business case building.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • University degree in business administration, business economics and/or management control.
  • >4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience finance business partnering, preferably in retail.
  • Knowledge of Business Control and/or FP&A, preferably in retail.
  • Strong hands-on capabilities.
  • Excel and dashboarding knowledge.
  • Hyperion, FRS and SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with working in a multi-national environment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of English (written & spoken).
  • Pro-active and strong team player but not afraid to challenge.
  • High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact.
  • Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience.


  • Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract will initially be offered with a view to extend.
  • Workplace type: Hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
  • Salary: We pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
