Note – This 6-month internship position has a start date of 1st December 2021 and is only open to students who are currently enrolled in a Dutch University and are present in the Netherlands.

You will work closely with our Global eye wear category manager alongside our external partners and internal stakeholders to understand our eye wear brand performances and find strategical solutions together as a team to evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Support category managers in running brand performance analysis at a global level to support strategy definition.
  • Actively contribute for the development of the global guidelines for the frames category: market competition & consumers insights research, sell-out analysis, brand roles & tactics definition and brand mappings update.
  • Prepare benchmarks on market opportunities and analyse available market surveys.
  • Support the Product & Marketing specific campaigns implementation & impact measurement.
  • Prepare global category data and inputs for strategic meetings, such as Category Performance Reviews, Global-Local Category Management calls, Strategic Product Assortment Committee meetings and Category Workshops.
  • Be involved on category projects from brief to implementation by preparing the relevant data, contributing with insights, and collecting feedbacks from different stakeholders.
  • Be part of new brand opportunity evaluation with trends team.

Key skills, knowledge, and experience

  • You are currently a Bachelor or master’s student studying Marketing, Business, or any relevant field in a Dutch University.
  • Prior internship experience in a product management or retail environment is necessary.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills are compulsory.
  • Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience.
  • Autonomous, analytical, dynamic and is aware of current fashion trends.
  • High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English.
  • Knows how to handle information of confidential nature.
  • Culturally aware with an international mindset.
  • Positive, customer first, can do attitude.
  • Flexible, open-minded, and proactive.
