GrandVision launched a Global SAP program in 2014. The program delivered a future proof and global SAP platform which is scalable and capable of housing new global capabilities to master the growing complexity of our supply chain and to leverage global scale for local benefit. The SAP solution is now live in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Chile. In 2019 the SAP platform will be supplemented with a non-SAP Order Management System for processing customer orders coming from any channel. For this purpose, an OMS application will be selected and integrated with the SAP landscape.
GrandVision Group IT runs a global SAP Center of Excellence based in Schiphol (the Netherlands). This center supports further roll outs, operations and improvements in the SAP application landscape of Grandvision and manages the change management process. The application support is outsourced to a partner. The new OMS application will be supported from the same Center of Excellence.
The OMS Analyst is a key contact for business experts in Grandvision operating companies. He/she is expected to deliver IT expertise in the area of the omni-channel order management application, leveraging his/ her experience in integrating with supply chain execution functionalities in SAP. The analyst is responsible to safeguard the quality and stability of the order management solution in combination with SAP. He/she will participate in projects as well as drive solutions in maintenance and areas of improvement.
