GrandVision launched a Global SAP program in 2014. The program delivered a future proof and global SAP platform which is scalable and capable of housing new global capabilities to master the growing complexity of our supply chain and to leverage global scale for local benefit. The SAP solution is now live in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Chile. In 2019 the SAP platform will be supplemented with a non-SAP Order Management System for processing customer orders coming from any channel. For this purpose, an OMS application will be selected and integrated with the SAP landscape.

GrandVision Group IT runs a global SAP Center of Excellence based in Schiphol (the Netherlands). This center supports further roll outs, operations and improvements in the SAP application landscape of Grandvision and manages the change management process. The application support is outsourced to a partner. The new OMS application will be supported from the same Center of Excellence.

The OMS Analyst is a key contact for business experts in Grandvision operating companies. He/she is expected to deliver IT expertise in the area of the omni-channel order management application, leveraging his/ her experience in integrating with supply chain execution functionalities in SAP. The analyst is responsible to safeguard the quality and stability of the order management solution in combination with SAP. He/she will participate in projects as well as drive solutions in maintenance and areas of improvement.

Essential functions

  • Responsible to liaise with the business area experts and maintain the relationship;
  • Advise on the possibilities of the OMS application within the SAP applicationndscape;
  • Assess business needs and requirements raised in the change management process;
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in existing applications, processes and procedures
  • Perform fit gap analysis, solution design and quality assessments in new deployments of template solutions;
  • Deliver functional specifications for integrations during projects and in the change management process;
  • Drive and assess quality of delivered solutions by external partners, including the offshore application support team;
  • Educate and empower business area experts with the required knowledge and skills;
  • Monitor quality of delivery in the change management process to ensure stable systems

Skills & Requirements

  • Educated to Bachelor level;
  • Proven experience and certified in OMS application technology Fluentcommerce or similar applications from Sterling or Manhattan.
  • Proven experience in at least 2 omni channel projects with the OMS application and SAP (-Retail) as back-end ERP;
  • Good understanding of SAP SD/MM/IM and LES integrations
  • Functional knowledge of omni channel and supply chain processes in a retail environment;
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving techniques;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of other languages like Spanish, French or German is an advantage;
  • Willing to travel internationally (app. 30%).
