CoE Test Lead, Amsterdam area
GrandVision launched a Global SAP program in 2014. The program delivered a future proof and global SAP platform which is scalable and capable of housing new global capabilities to master the growing complexity of our supply chain and to leverage global scale for local benefit. The SAP solution is now live in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Chile.
GrandVision Group IT runs a global SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Schiphol (The Netherlands). This center supports further roll outs, operations and improvements in the SAP application landscape of Grandvision and manages the change management process. The project development & application support is outsourced to partners. The test lead is the leader of the virtual and distributed testing team responsible for the quality and stability of supported solutions. The test lead is also accountable for test strategy and execution. He/she also has a pivotal role in maintaining relations with local test managers and testers in countries running SAP and with 3rd party vendors. The test lead participates in projects like country roll-in’s and technical upgrades as well as ongoing support. He/ she is also responsible for championing improvements to test strategy and execution. The test lead is the ‘go-to’ person for the COE and business for questions about test scope, coverage and execution.
