As part of this strategy, GrandVision set up Vision Ventures, a separate business unit, to act as an internal incubator. Its purpose is to drive innovation by launching new business initiatives that challenge the status quo. Sightful is the first start-up / scale-up founded under Vision Ventures, currently operational in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Within the fast-growing online business at Sightful, as a Content Marketeer & Brand Officer you are responsible for creating branded content and best-in-class marketing activities for all sales channels that can easily be implemented to drive growth.

You will be joining a small but agile team running a fast-growing business. You are jointly responsible for setting up the business for success, by:

  • Being responsible for daily / weekly optimizing & reporting of campaigns and content.
  • Supporting Digital Marketing Manager in preparing marketing plans, developing strategies for growth and translating the set strategy direction into actionable plans.
  • Working closely together with the marketing team to bring in new ideas and set up new campaigns for reaching our potential customers.
  • Increasing and improving the Sightful presence on content-heavy channels (e.g., Social).
  • Work closely together with external agencies to optimize and maintain content & campaigns.
  • Managing the proper use of Sightful branding & content, both internally and externally.
  • Executing of Joint Business Plans with external suppliers.
  • Bringing in new ideas and executing plans for Sightful merchandising.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • University degree (master) in a marketing related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of brand and content management.
  • Experience setting up and managing influencer campaigns.
  • Developed in Photoshop and other Adobe image processing tools.
  • Deep understanding of advertising on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
  • Research and data analysis for the execution of new and existing campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of customer journey in e-commerce.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch & English (written & spoken).
  • Positive, customer first, can do attitude.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Pro-active and strong team player, not afraid to challenge.
  • High level of energy and ambition.
  • Highly adaptable to new environments with a natural ability to embrace learning and development through experience.
  • High level of integrity and leading by example.


Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract may initially be offered with a view to extend.

Workplace type: hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.

Salary: we pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
