Communications Manager Schiphol, Amsterdam Area

As a member of this high-profile team, you will be responsible for the preparation and project management of GrandVision’s external publications including the Integrated Report, contributing to the understanding of the company by building trust and confidence with stakeholders.

You will be the owner and content manager of the corporate website and social media accounts, Integrated Report, and, together with the business, the category teams and GrandVision’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability team, will develop and publish content on an ongoing basis. You will be the internal counterpart of different media agencies GrandVision works with, coordinate internal work streams, and execute GrandVision’s communications strategy, and communications related projects.

You will also support the Director Investor Relations with the preparation of non-financial press releases, Q&A and presentations.

Director Investor Relations

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Project Manager of GrandVision’s Integrated Report:

    • Conceptualization of Integrated Report including presentation of themes, case studies, design elements including coverer page and changes vs. previous year

    • Selection of best and most cost effective suppliers

    • Coordination with all internal content owners and external suppliers (Tangelo, copywriter, designer/editor)

    • Delivery of Annual Report including online version

  2. Primary content owner and manager of GrandVision’s Corporate website:

    • Re-launch of GrandVision’s corporate website to ensure website remains relevant for various stakeholders: employees, media, investors, customers, etc.

    • Continuous improvement of website including coordination with external suppliers and internal content owners of subpages

    • Edit, update, review and revise content as necessary

  3. Responsibility for all GrandVision social media accounts:

    • Ownership of global social media activities and accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), to engage audiences across traditional and new media

    • Development of content in coordination with the business / countries

    • Monitor social media activities of GrandVision’s global retail banners

    • Develop and exchange best practices within GrandVision group

  4. Other communications tasks:

    • Development of media kit for website

    • Publication of press releases on website and distribution service

    • Maintain company presentation

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Master’s degree in business, Communications, arts/humanities or other relevant university degree

  • Excellent knowledge of English (written & spoken), Dutch and/or other European languages are an asset

  • Minimum five years of experience in communications in an international environment

  • Experience in writing annual reports

  • Project management experience
