eCommerce Intern, Amsterdam Area

eCommerce Intern Sun

eCommerce Intern Sun will be responsible to manage daily operations of employee sunglasses web shop and help global sunglasses eCommerce operations.

eCommerce Manager Sun

Main purpose of the role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Becoming the owner of employee web shop with the purpose of continuous improvement

· Web site management of employee web shop

· Sunglasses assortment management of the web shop

· Web merchandising of the employee web shop; adding content i.e. photos, description and specifications

· Performing operations i.e. contacting and assisting buyer if needed

· Collaborating with IT department to ensure web shop is open in desired periods

· Collaborating with internal communication department to ensure internal marketing of the employee web shop is done in highest level

· Creating email marketing campaigns to increase traffic and awareness of the employee web shop

· Devising new ways to increase revenue of the employee web shop

· Supporting global sun eCommerce business

· Contributing backoffice operations i.e. creating new products, entering product content etc

· Work with UI/UX professionals to ensure best online experience

· Support digital marketing activities via managing Facebook/Instagram and Google campaigns

Required qualifications/level of education

Solid academic background (minimum of Bachelor degree), ‘smart’, background in eCommerce, digital marketing or web merchandising

Core competencies/ Personal attributes

· Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience. High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact.

· Positive, customer first, can do attitude.

· Can-do mentality, ambitious, results oriented

· Enthusiasm, rigor and strong implication

Key skills, knowledge and experience

· High proficiency in English (written/verbal as we operate in an international team)

· Willing to learn, diplomatic and ability to communicate and influence

· Digital-friendly and excellent command of Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); Photoshop is a plus

· Can-do mentality, ambitious, results oriented

· Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

· Enthusiasm, rigor and strong implication

· Organizational skills and ability to work in autonomy

· Interest in fashion, eCommerce, digital marketing and web merchandising

· Working experience in a demanding environment
