About our ESG/CSR Team

We are a small international CSR Team managing a large CSR Ambassador Community across multiple countries and continents, as well as building and implementing CSR strategies and actions across the global functions and local operations. We have a down-to-earth, roll-up-our-sleeves mentality, open and honest communication lines, and a hands-on approach to everything we do. As the GrandVision ESG Project and Data Manager, you will support our organisation to deliver on its integrated sustainability strategy and reporting. You will collaborate with our strategic departments and operating companies to configure, collect and analyse ESG data, and you will be positively contributing to the overall advancement of our sustainability agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be mapping activities to our sustainability objectives, interpreting the findings, and curating the evidence to demonstrate how we progress against our sustainability strategy and priorities.
  • Liaise with key business teams to collate data and report on the progress of our sustainability strategy.
  • Positively contribute to our sustained improvement in the areas of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
  • Interpret and present research findings to (senior) internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with communications counterparts to raise awareness and engagement across sustainability initiatives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to further integrate sustainability into operations, including Finance, Procurement, Product Development, Compliance, Internal and External Communications, People & Culture, and others.
  • Collect data and case studies from relevant departments to track sustainability performance and support our integrated/sustainability reporting.
  • Coordinate and support the completion of annual submissions to third-party ESG rankings and recognitions and rating agencies (including CDP, Sustainalytics, VBDO, Transparency Benchmark, FTSE4Good, and others).
  • Cover both routine, administrative and operational tasks (for instance, reporting KPI’s) but also project-related work.

Your Profile

  • You have a Bachelors/Master’s degree in the required relevant field from an accredited university i.e., Environmental Psychology/Sustainability.
  • Advanced knowledge in excel, GRI, IIRC, CDP & Sustainalytics is a compulsory prerequisite.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience working in a corporate sustainability team or consultancy.
  • Prior involvement in an international FMCG or Retail would ideally be a bonus point.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision in a fast-paced organisation.
  • Ability to establish and manage working relationships across all parts of the business.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical skills, and business work ethics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, takes initiative and is very proactive.
  • Flexible, easily adaptable, and open to constant change.
  • Ability to tackle several priorities at once.
  • Strong desire to achieve excellence through results.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
