Job Title

Global Head of HR – Product Value Chain & IT

Reports to

Chief HR Officer

Main purpose of the role

As Global Head of HR for the Product Value Chain (PVC) & IT functions, you are a member of the Operations Leadership Team & the IT Leadership Team. You work directly with the Global Head of Transformation, VP of HR & Functional Leaders of these functions to support the organisational transformations of these functions. This transformation includes the harmonisation of core business processes in product creation, supply chain & manufacturing and the implementation of a global IT framework. You will play a pivotal role in designing & implementing the future-state organisation, in alignment with the GrandVision organisational blueprint. In addition, you will assess the impact of the new organisation model & develop concrete plans for the smooth implementation of it across the globe.

In addition to leading all HR domains of this transformation, you will also drive leadership development & talent identification for the PVC & IT functions. You provide an oversight to attracting and retaining talent in senior management roles in PVC & IT, and other key leadership roles in these functions globally, while improving the diversity of the talent pipeline.


Your key accountabilities are:

  • Act as Global Head of HR for the PVC & IT Functions, defining & support organisational transformation through organisation design & capability building projects, while leading people-related initiatives in the finance function to enable the company’s strategy.
  • Develop the HR Operating Model for the PVC Function, including global & local resourcing & the implications for payroll services & HR administration.
  • Drive leadership development & talent identification for the finance function.
  • Provide an oversight to attracting and retaining talent in senior management roles in PVC & IT & other key leadership roles globally, while improving the diversity of the talent pipeline
  • You facilitate the performance objective & key result cascading process for these functions to align individual effort with company financial & strategic objectives.
  • Act as HR Manager for all Senior Management employees in PVC & IT

Required qualifications/level of education

  • 10+ years’ of experience in HR Business Partnering role which includes a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading business transformation / big changes
  • Master’s degree, preferably in business or economics

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Experience with various problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong IT skill set with an advanced level of Excel & good presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven track record of implementing organisational changes, with demonstrable skills & experience in organisation design
  • Strong business acumen
