In this internship, you will work with the Global Assortment team to understand how the assortment of products works in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment. You will learn how to manage global assortment and understand the different needs from one country to another. In addition, you will have the chance to be part of the relaunching of the Unofficial brand and the rebranding strategy. During this time, you will support various team members, thus, this is a great opportunity to take on different tasks and gain real-life experience in an international organization.

You will join a team of 4 persons and will support the work on optical eyewear collection for our own brands as well as for international brands. You will actively participate in all the steps of the optical eyewear assortments management for the seasons to come.

Responsibilities

The core responsibility of the global assortment intern will be:

  • Support the department activities and learn the basics of assortment management.
  • Participation to the definition of the collection structure, collection size and renewal rate per brands.
  • Support individual team members in reviewing & monitoring data KPI and publishing monthly reports.
  • Involvement in the selection committee (selection days) and various projects
  • Manage the update and cleaning of the data base (o9 tool).
  • Learn about cross functional communication with various stakeholders to obtain information.
  • If the covid19 situation is better some travel is required, mainly in Italy & The Netherlands.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing and business
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Cultural & international awareness to work with multicultural matrix organization
  • Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English & French
  • Team player and cooperative
  • Hands-on and pragmatic
  • Self-motivated and Pro-active
