Responsibilities

Manage the Quality Interface with external suppliers of Exclusive Brands (EB) products by:

  • Ensuring quality of product / process transfers, validations, issues investigations, nonconformance, impact assessment and projects close out by EB suppliers are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are defined, implemented and that their efficacy is evaluated.
  • Providing quality support for technology transfer and improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
  • Ensuring that EB suppliers maintain quality systems that are in the state of compliance to GrandVision quality standards and technical agreements clauses.
  • Coordinating change control and approval process related to EB suppliers.
  • Collecting & Performing trend analyses based on indicators as well as feedback from other department (for example Release provider, PMS, Operations) and take actions as adequate.
  • Performing the periodical evaluation of the performance of EB suppliers in collaboration with other concerned departments and follow up Quality Related actions.

Manage the External quality management system by:

  • Creating and updating the Suppliers Quality audit schedule and inspections.
  • Coordinating / performing onsite inspections and audits at EB suppliers’ facilities.
  • Maintaining Quality records related to EB and suppliers (Example: Audits, Change control, CAPAs…).
  • Contributing to reject/recall decisions of EB Suppliers products.
  • Supporting disposition, deviation, and release activities at EB Suppliers.
  • Responsible for quality aspects related to the transfer or set up of processes related to EB suppliers’ products.
  • Participating in cross-functional committee for new Supplier’s selection and legacy supplier’s reviews.
  • Preparing, managing, and tracking technical agreements with EB suppliers and Quality Suppliers.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and review of standard operating procedures for interactions with EB suppliers.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Master’s degree preferably in a scientific or technical topic (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Mechanical, etc.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience.
  • Experience in supplier management.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of cGXPs, quality systems and external Manufacturing supplier management.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulations.
