Global Logistics Engineer

Reports to

Global Manufacturing Director

Main purpose of the role

Support RFH strategy deployment:

Co-design with OPCO’s team’s business ready logistics solutions, monitor achievements with standard KPIs:

  • store replenishment and show room model implementation ( focus on DSI improvement and store stock level)
  • ecom flows (delivery options, lead time and costs tender management) and track and trace solutions with OMS
  • Contact lenses subscription core model (assortment per country, orders and delivery options)
  • define OPCO’s logistics SLA ( quality,and service requirements, service’s costs)

Design the standard RFH network logistics tool core model:

  • validate RFH’s actual VSM and the “to be “model, Kaizen burst identification and CI action plan set up
  • drive the logistics EHS policy ( safety standards, waste and recycling management and improvement)
  • challenge software and hardware solutions in orders to improve productivity
  • accountable for physical layout and technical optimizations: ROI on automatize solutions and investments
  • define process self-inspection protocol

Enable interoperability between RFH: full OMS connectivity and operationality

    • VSM and logistics processes alignment: suppliers and packaging specifications, ABC cost model implementation
    • Back Up Plan for Latam and EU set up, update customs costs, lead time and constrains between RFH’s
    • PMO for global efulfilment solutions: international ecom platform

Evaluate solutions partner’s and non-dependency strategy

    • design the “to be” warehouse core model (automated solutions)
    • accountable for technical choices and supplierstenders
    • sponsor for warehouse automization projects within ours RFH’s

Support RFH efficiency:

Warehousing and logistics activities KPI design and implementation

    • organization and rituals alignment
    • set up the standard KPI’s tree for logistics focusing on activity and logistics P&L

Contribution to COGS definition

    • manage local and global transportation tenders ( lead time & cost) with OPCO’s teams
    • implement 100% of logistics flows in a unique and standard ABC model cost analysis
    • define services costs in line with RFHs budgets and OPCO’s volumes commitments

Implement new processes in link with cost controlling: new production ranges and expected savings

    • validate actual VSM, CI projects services or financial impact after implementation
    • update VSM, ABC model and P&L impacts

Required qualifications/ level of education

Master’s degree in engineering

Core competencies/Personal attributes

    • Data driven
    • Leadership and unifying project teams

Key skills, knowledge & experience

    • 5 to 7 years in industrial position, warehouse or logistics manager
    • WCS / WMS (Manhattan, SAP WM)
    • SAP PP
    • Freight knowledges (customs, DG goods, incoterms)
