Having been recently acquired by EssilorLuxottica, GrandVision is going through a period of change throughout the business, as well as within the Group reporting team.

We are looking for a Group Finance Controller with a strong background in accounting to help bridge our reporting team with departments and operating countries across GrandVision and EssilorLuxottica. Someone whose passion for reporting and consolidation drives them to rebuild processes and create relationships during this exciting period of change.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the GV consolidated financial reporting from Hyperion
  • Preparation of consolidated reporting package on quarterly basis to ultimate Group
  • Tax accounting, preparation of consolidated tax pack of quarterly basis
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Monthly review of financial results of the countries.
  • Review and make analysis of Group KPI’s, like Capex, FTEs, etc.
  • Require communication with internal GV HQ departments as well as with countries finance teams.
  • Assisting countries with accounting topics
  • IFRS 16 accounting including management of Infosys application
  • Calculation and accounting for long-term intensive plan (cash settled)
  • Improve accounting and compliance related processes, creating capacity to support the future growth of the company

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Internationally mobile for a future within Finance GrandVision/Essilor Luxottica
  • A Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent accounting experience in an international business environment
  • 2-3 years’ audit experience in Big 4 or equivalent accounting, consolidation, and reporting experience in an international business environment
  • Experience with HFM consolidation and reporting system is a big plus
  • Fluency in English is required, written and spoken
  • Pro-active and strong team player but not afraid to challenge
  • Good balance of energy, intellect and able to act in (technical) discussion

Benefits/Terms

Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract will be offered with a view to extend.

Workplace type: hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
