Group Finance Manager

Having been recently acquired by EssilorLuxottica, GrandVision is going through a period of change throughout the business, as well as within the Group reporting team. GrandVision is currently looking for someone who has experience in working with Hyperion HFM and managing a reporting team to come in to manage through this period of change.

The reporting team functions by having GrandVision’s operating countries report into the Head Office, who will in return report consolidated reports into EssilorLuxottica. Given that this is all fairly new, you will have the opportunity to build new projects and lead initiatives while managing a team of 6 Finance Controllers through this exciting period.


  • Coordinate tasks and manage a team that is responsible for preparing of consolidated monthly results for GrandVision;
  • Review results on monthly basis and report quarterly package to ultimate Group within the deadlines
  • Issue instructions for countries and implement new reporting requirements based on guidance from the ultimate Group
  • Assist in integration of financial reporting and systems to align with new requirements of ultimate Group (alignment of accounting policies, KPI’s, consolidation system)
  • Be a point of the first contact for the external auditors
  • Act as a sparring partner for the reporting team in ultimate Group, for finance departments in the operating companies, including the (regional) financial directors and local financial controllers
  • Support and be the partner for team members

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Internationally mobile for a future within Finance GrandVision/Essilor Luxottica
  • A Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent accounting experience in an international business environment
  • Knowledge of/experience with IFRS and applicable (tax) accounting rules in relation to Dutch GAAP/IFRS
  • Experience with HFM consolidation and reporting system is a big plus
  • Fluency in English is required, written and spoken
  • Good communication skills, pro-active attitude and able to act as a business partner to C-level
  • Positive energy and confident to prioritize
  • Capable of co-working with team members while maintaining higher level overview


Workplace type: Hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.
