Main purpose of the role
The Group Financial Controller is responsible for timely, accurately and consistently reporting of the consolidated external reporting, accounting matters, financial KPIs
We are seeking for an individual that has strong IFRS knowledge, always aims for a high level of quality, takes ownership and responsibility, has good communication skills and enjoys working in a dynamic international environment
Key performance indicators
Perform analysis and benchmarking of the (monthly) financial results of the countries;
Prepare monthly internal reporting and external reporting to shareholders;
Support maintenance of the Group Accounting Manual and accounting matters e.g. study and apply IFRS to cases on Revenue Recognition, Treasury, Deferred Taxes etc;
Perform analysis on the new implemented IFRS 16 standard and reporting.
Required qualifications/level of education
The ideal candidate is a professionally qualified accountant who worked at a Big 4 Company with recognized retail industry experiences.
