Based right next to the Schiphol Airport, close to the unique yet world-famous lights of Amsterdam, we offer a truly global work environment.

This is a newly created role where you will be essential in supporting the ever-expanding global Microsoft 365 platform operated by GrandVision covering modern workplace O365 and Azure cloud services. As you won’t interact with end users, we’re not looking for someone purely technical but rather someone who excels at project and stake holder management and understanding business requirements, turning them into more effective solutions for the business.

Working closely with process owners at our HQ as well as the global IT community in various operating counties, you will have the opportunity to design and tailor solutions based on the needs of our global user base.

One of our current projects is centralizing the helpdesk service management platforms and you will manage the overall process and ticketing system, deciding on its efficiency, and finding effective ways how workload / the amount of tickets can be reduced by providing better solutions, manuals, system configurations to the global user base.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the entire Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, including Azure Active Directory (AAD) for GrandVision – Globally
  • Efficient management of all product related support activities for global user base conducted by both Microsoft Partner(s) & Microsoft
  • Ensuring all incidents and service requests are accurately identified, categorised, prioritised and managed and aligned with all Operating Companies
  • Providing professional technical support and troubleshooting for all critical and escalated incidents
  • Reviewing Microsoft 365 roadmap against GrandVision’s requirements
  • Leading projects designed to deliver enhanced M365 capabilities within the organisation (GVHQ & OpCos).
  • Work in line with SLAs/SLOs
  • Participate in continuous service improvement and lessons learned processes

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field of study
  • Microsoft Certifications (Microsoft 365 field) or equivalent working experience leading to same level of knowledge

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • 4 + years of experience in a similar position, preferably in multi-national organization
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Proven experience in Service Delivery associated with Microsoft 365
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • High degree of IT literacy
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge and experience working with ITSM tools such as Service Now is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and matrix management skills
  • PowerShell, O365 Admin, Azure skills
