Junior Procurement Finance Analyst, Schiphol, Amsterdam Area

Junior Procurement Finance Analyst, Supply Chain Finance.

Reports to

Eyewear Operations Finance Business Partner

Main purpose of the role

To support the Procurement Finance Controller and the Procurement organization on finance business partnering activities, including but not limited to:

  • Support in building and managing the purchase price database, including support in transferring the purchase price of products into transfer price
  • Support in managing the global kickback schedule, including analysis of actual kickbacks vs. kickbacks included within transfer price; outside-transfer price kickbacks; coordinating kickback communications with global procurement and OpCo’s
  • Support in building and managing the global Booster program. Supporting OpCo’s and global supply chain teams to demonstrate savings generated from various initiatives; share initiatives between countries and department and support in management reporting of Booster performance.
  • Support in preparing contract negotiations and evaluating supplier and brand performance
  • Support in evaluating business cases, business development projects and suppler proposals
  • Support in delivering management reporting and insight analysis on brand/supplier performance
  • Support in preparing for Support Store Meetings with OpCo’s on a range of Procurement subjects

Key performance indicators

  • Effective contribution to Procurement Finance achieving its’ major objectives:
    • Global Booster Program
    • Kickback management
    • Transfer pricing (purchase price)
  • Generating positive working relationships with Global procurement, GVSC Finance and relevant stakeholder in the OpCo’s. As a result, being seen as a “go-to” person for Procurement Finance related issues

Required qualifications/ level of education

Finished relevant degree

Core competencies/ Personal attributes

Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience. High level of energy and ambition to realize a positive impact.

Positive, customer first, can do attitude.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

Strong knowledge of English (written & spoken)
