Learning and Development Intern, Amsterdam Area

As an intern you will be part of the Learning & Development team within People & Culture team at the GrandVision HQ. This team, located in Amsterdam, is responsible for the strategy and facilitation of learning interventions for GrandVision employees across the globe.

You will cooperate fully with the team and work together with international team. You will get responsibility in different projects that focus on our Learning & Development initiatives.

Reports to

Head of GrandVision Academy

Main purpose of the role:

  • Organization of GrandVision’s bi-weekly Beer & Learn sessions

  • Support (countries & GV business) the L&D-team on their daily activities

  • Communication of training activities

  • Practical support during training interventions

  • Support on the development of GrandVision’s brand-new Mobile Learning App

  • Next to that there is plenty of opportunity to develop and share your own vision and ambitions in Learning & Development.

Required qualifications/level of education

You are a Bachelor or Master student, in the final year of your graduation, preferably a specialization in the areas of: Human Resources or Learning & Development.

· Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience. High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact

· Creative and proactive

Key skills, knowledge and experience

· High proficiency in English (written/verbal as we operate in an international team)

· Willing to learn, diplomatic and ability to communicate and influence

· Good interpersonal skills and team spirit

· Organizational skills and ability to work in autonomy

· Working experience in a demanding environment
