Project Management Support Intern

Note – This 6-month internship position has a start date in February/March 2022 and is only open to students who are currently enrolled in a Dutch University and are present in the Netherlands.

We are looking for a Program Management Support Intern to join our Global Omni-channel & eCommerce team. As an intern, you will actively collaborate in the optimization of processes such as resource management activities, documentation, data analysis, contracts, accounting, and onboarding (with other HR relates processes). You will have the opportunity to take initiative to set up processes from scratch and join a highly dynamic team, interacting and collaborating with the Product Owner, Scrum Masters, the Director and the Head of Delivery.

  • Create, manage and share different types of reporting over the program lifecycle and over a time period (progress; status; resources; plans; KPIs; reviews, etc.) to our internal teams and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and share ‘the only version of truth’ about the latest program statuses, figures, actions, issues, etc. by keeping a central (program) administration in a uniform manner and creating and managing periodic reporting.
  • Setup the configuration management of our platform by updating the overview, documents, designs, etc.
  • Support the Product Owners and Scrum masters with resource management by onboarding of new resources (account setup, access management, introduction, HR process, etc.) and offboarding of leavers (account deletion, access management, coordination of HR process).
  • Support the program delivery with administrative and financial tasks.
  • Coordinate and execute quality assurance of our processes and platform by collaborating with other departments and partners like Security officers, compliance managers, external and internal auditors.
  • Work with the teams to identify improvements and motivate the teams to be at their best.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • You are currently enrolled in a Dutch University and living in the Netherlands.
  • You are currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Business Administration or other equivalent disciplines. You have knowledge and (some) experience of agile project management methodologies such as Lean, Scrum and SAFe.
  • You have a project planning ability and experience of working on IT projects/programmes.
  • You are able to analyse and present information.
  • You are result driven and a self-reflective team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly adaptable to new environments, new people, new culture; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience.
  • You are customer obsessed – quality is key, and in the end the customer determines if you are successful.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to affectively collaborate with all professional levels across many different countries and cultures.
  • You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
