As a Procurement Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in sourcing activities related to 3rd party eyewear brands. You will gain insights into how supplier contracts for brands (e.g. Gucci, Tom Ford) are negotiated, and how complex supplier relationships are managed within a matrix organization going through an integration.

Your main tasks will be in the following areas

  • Establish relationships with GrandVision operating companies to solve problems and ensure high quality, reliable sources in reporting and information gathering.
    • Work together with GrandVision operating companies to contribute to an efficient and effective Supply Chain and Procurement process.
    • Support the team on the analytics capabilities, focusing on BI reporting and follow up on data management with GrandVision operating companies.
    • Assist GrandVision operating companies with 3rd party (Non-Exclusive Brands) category sourcing enquiries.
  • Contribute actively to the strategic transformation of the sourcing function with the primary focus on governance, standardization, and effectiveness of the service delivery.
    • Liaise with Finance department and suppliers to build an agile process for invoicing flow.
    • Support the team to develop and implement a sourcing strategy for the category.
    • Help GrandVision to find new ways to add value to our customer journey (from a sourcing point of view).
  • Support and coordinate daily tasks for 3rd party sourcing (NEB) category.
  • Be the key sourcing user for GoldenEye (Masterdata Systems).
  • Update data & information consolidation for ongoing projects.
  • Create reports on supplier and brand performance and look for potential data insights for cost savings/optimizations.

Your Profile

  • You are currently enrolled in a Dutch University and are currently living in the Netherlands.
  • You are currently following a Bachelor or Master’s in the area of Supply Chain, Business Administration or any relevant field.
  • Experience with Excel
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English
  • Detail oriented with good analytical and organizational skills
