Job Title

Procurement Intern for Non-Exclusive Brands category

During the internship you are part of the Global Procurement Department, a team of 11 FTE’s in total. The department is divided in the following areas: Exclusive Brands Frames, Non-exclusive Brands Frames, Lenses & Contact Lenses (CL). The duration of the assignment will be 4 to 6 months during 2021.

Reports to

Procurement manager NEB

Main purpose of the role

Establish relationships with GrandVision operating companies to solve problems and ensure high quality, reliable sources in reporting and information gathering.

Contribute actively to the strategic transformation of the procurement function with the primary focus on governance, standardization and effectiveness of the service delivery.

  • Work together with GrandVision Operating Companies to contribute to an efficient and effective Supply Chain and Procurement process
  • Support the team on the analytics capabilities, focussing on BI reporting and follow up on data management with GrandVision operating companies
  • Be the key procurement user for GoldenEye (Masterdata System)
  • Support the team to develop and implement a sourcing strategy for the category
  • Liaise with Finance department and suppliers to build an agile process for invoicing flow
  • Help GrandVision to find new ways to add value to our customer journey (from a Procurement point of view)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and coordinate daily tasks for the NEB category
  • Update data & information consolidation for the ongoing projects
  • Create reports on supplier and brand performance
  • Assist GrandVision operating companies with Non-Exclusive Brands category procurement enquiries

Required qualifications/level of education

In the process of finishing a relevant degree.
