Recruiter, Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Area

As the Recruiter for the Global HQ at GrandVision you will be responsible for the entire recruitment cycle for all departments and functions. You will be able to co-create the operational excellence for recruitment. This is why we are looking for a structured and experienced recruiter who can successfully handle a changing work environment and manage the expectations of hiring managers and department leaders with ease.

At the HQ we have up to 30 outstanding vacancies at any given moment in time. You will have an end to end responsibility to fill vacancies for professional- and manager level roles. You will be manage expansion- as well as replacement roles, leadership positions as well as interns.

Since you are strong in operational excellence and excel in time management, volume is not a problem. Your recruitment experience has made you fast and client focused, and you know how to prioritize your work well. You are comfortable being budget responsible as you are strong on numbers. You feel comfortable advising and challenging various layers of the organization. You can read between the lines and you are by nature a forward-looking person. You love tech recruitment and you are a digitally savvy. You are always business friendly, very knowledgeable when it comes to the latest trends and developments and therefore line managers appreciate you challenging them on their choices.

You will be part of a professional and international People & Culture team at the HQ. You will further improve operational excellence with clear processes, system integration and smart solutions. You enjoy proactive communication with the business to ensure transparency and consistency of your deliveries. The People and Culture team currently consists of 10 FTE in total, among them are colleagues with global and local responsibilities. You report to the Senior Recruiter Global HQ.

Within our P&C team, we are dedicated to enabling GrandVision’s success through partnering with leaders and addressing their HR-related priorities and challenges. Coming from different cultural backgrounds and looking back at years of professional experience in various environments, we are always able to see things from different perspectives to identify the right approach. As we are still a small team, we need to be agile and join hands to collaborate on a number of projects and topics, which makes working here exciting and also challenging. There is a lot of room to bring in new initiatives and develop our work further, which is where we would like you to come in and shine!

Sr. Recruiter

Main purpose of the role

To recruit professionals for our global HQ who stand out through exceptional functional and leadership competencies, entrepreneurship, and interpersonal skills. Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, including but not limited to:

  • Managing expectations with line managers and proving them with a clear recruitment process for their vacancies from the initial intake until the vacancy is filled.
  • Advertising positions, sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and related portals, bringing them to the shortlist of vacancies.
  • Liaising with agencies, making sure all agreements are in place and engage in long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Tracking candidates through our systems (SAP based) and ensuring a smooth candidate journey and timely communication process.
  • Advising your stakeholders on recruitment and HR related topics.
  • Working with hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from approvals and intakes to job postings or pre screenings.
  • Collecting feedback throughout the recruitment process and ensuring steps are appropriately followed.
  • Leverage our internal candidate pools on a global level through an internal recruitment platform, joining an international community of recruiters.
  • Looking for new trends in recruitment and how they could be implemented within GrandVision.
  • Working closely with HR Business partners on various steps of the recruitment process to ensure alignment.
  • Participating in external employer branding activities, i.e. with universities.

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on HRM

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in corporate recruitment with multinational organizations
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) and strong communication skills with all levels
  • Interest in digital transformation and recruitment technology, can work well with systems
