The SAP solution is now live in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Chile.

GrandVision Group IT runs a global SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) based in Schiphol (the Netherlands). This center supports further roll outs, operations and improvements in the SAP application landscape of Grandvision and manages the change management process. The application support is outsourced to a partner.

The Solution Analyst is a key contact for business experts in Grandvision countries. He/she is expected to deliver IT (SAP) expertise, implement and maintain the specific application and deliver support within the assigned area. The analyst is responsible to safeguard the quality and stability of supported solutions in his/her area. You are also ahead of the curve by bringing an understanding of the latest SAP solutions and maintaining relationships with the business. You will participate in projects as well as drive solutions in maintenance and areas of improvement.

Essential functions:

Act as an intermediate between different stakeholders

  • Educate and empower business area experts with the required knowledge and skills
  • Advise on the possibilities in SAP ECC regarding Retail and OTC processes
  • Prepare SAP demo’s and deliver process workshops
  • Assess business needs and requirements
  • Perform fit gap analysis, solution design and quality assessments in new deployments of template solutions;
  • Drive, control and assess quality of delivered solutions by external partners, including the offshore application support team;
  • Define test strategies (test requirements, system integration test, user acceptance tests and volume test)
  • Deliver functional specifications in projects and in the change management process;
  • Monitor quality of delivery in the change management process to ensure stable systems
  • Identifies opportunities for improvements in existing applications, processes and procedures
