Senior Business Analyst - IT Retail Development

As a Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between the business, developers, designers and the product owners in Group IT. You analyse and document business processes, the underlying data flows and information flows. You are a T-Shaped test analyst, you understand technical requirements, core analytics skills and soft skills to deal with different complexities within the GrandVision organisation. This in the end will help improve the reliability of our services towards our retail business within our 7000+ stores footprint worldwide.

  • As we work in an international environment, good understanding and knowledge of and write fluent English.
  • You will be responsible to maintain and define a business analysis process and the use and standardization of modelling techniques within Retail Development.
  • You take responsibility in defining a blueprint and standardize processes to help and understand different stakeholders for the different projects within Retail Development to enable development teams to excel.
  • You will collaborate with product, design and broader engineering teams on features and functionality use cases.
  • You will gather and understand the pain points and needs of a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and perform analysis on Optical Retail specific topics to identify key differentiators for us to be the category killer for lenses, contact lenses and frames.
  • You take pride and responsibility to collaborate with Quality Assurance engineer(s) to define and setup test and acceptance criteria.

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in International business administration or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in delivering business analyses as a Business Analyst.
  • You have been certified in BPMN, UML or equivalent.
  • Conceptual thinking and business intelligence
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Having experience with guiding and supporting colleagues.
  • Having experience with BPMN 2.0, UML and ERD’s.
  • Familiarity with ArchiMate Business Process Cooperation Viewpoint.
  • Knowledge of Bizzdesign is a plus
