Senior Business Controller

Schiphol, Amsterdam Area

The Global Headquarters of GrandVision is located at Schiphol airport. From here shared services are provided to country organizations in the areas of finance business partnering, customer experience & digital, category management, supply chain, human resources, information technology and finance. The Group Business Control department of the Global Headquarters is responsible for the finance business partnering, management reporting & dashboarding, forecasting, decision/M&A support and control over the P&L for all activities in the geographical cluster. In this role your main partners in business are the cluster VP, cluster Finance Director and local Opco management and business controllers.

Reports to

Head of Group Business Control


  • Finance business partnering for senior management geographical cluster
  • Drive strategy realization
  • Attend and drive business review meetings
  • Responsible for coordinating P&C cycle in cluster
  • Analysis on results and foresights
  • Benchmarking, best practice sharing and implementation
  • Decision support for strategic investments
  • M&A integration support
  • Participate in, and follow up on audits/projects
  • Ad hoc analysis

Required qualifications/level of education

  • University degree in business administration, business economics and/or management control
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in finance business partnering in cooperation with senior management
  • Strong knowledge of Business Control and/or FP&A
  • Experience in sharing and implementing best practices
  • Strong Excel and dashboarding knowledge
  • Hyperion and SAP knowledge is a pre
  • Willingness to travel (<10%)
  • Internationally mobile for a future career within Finance GrandVision
