Senior Recruiter, Schiphol, Amsterdam Area

As the Senior Recruiter for the HQ you will be responsible for the entire cycle. You will not have a team to manage, however because of the scope, the budget and the stakeholders, we are looking for a very seasoned professional. At the HQ we have up to 30 outstanding vacancies at any given moment in time. You will have an end to end responsibility to fill all vacancies; expansion as well as replacements, leadership positions as well as interns. Since you are strong in operational excellence and excel in time management, volume is not a problem. Your experience in a recruitment agency has made you fast and client focused. You are comfortable being budget responsible as you are strong on numbers. You feel comfortable training, advising and challenging all layers of the organization. You know how to pick your battles…and how to win them. You can read between the lines and you are by nature a forward looking person. You love Recruitment Tech & you are a digital savvy. You are always business friendly, very knowledgeable when it comes to the latest trends and data developments and therefore your line managers appreciate you challenging them on their choices.

Reports to

The People and Culture team currently consists of 9 FTE in total, between them are colleagues with Global and Local responsibilities. You report to the HR Manager HQ.

Main purpose of the role

To be 100% in control of the quality, quantity and budget for Recruitment. To add professionals to our global company who stand out in both content, entrepreneurship and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities contain the end-to-end recruitment process; they are including but not limited to:

  • Sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and related portals, bringing them to the shortlist of vacancies;
  • Liaising with agencies, making sure all agreements are in place and we have long-term strategic partners;
  • Posting on social media and running job marketing campaigns;
  • Tracking candidates using our Applicant Tracking Software (SAP based) and ensuring a smooth candidate journey;
  • Advising your stakeholders on recruitment and HR related topics, also when the message is not an easy one;
  • Working with hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from approvals and intakes to job postings, or pre screenings;
  • Collecting feedback throughout the recruitment process and working on constant improvement of recruitment;
  • Compiling, negotiating and sending out offers and employment contracts;
  • Participating in different (global) recruitment projects such as;
    • Launch a time planning tool
    • Significantly increase our employer branding through employee engagement
    • Leverage our internal candidate pools on a global level
  • Reducing the budget spend on agencies and increase efficiency and quality at the same time
  • Looking for new trends in recruitment and how they could be implemented in the organization
  • Working closely with HR Business partners to ensure the team balance will always be maintained or improved with new hires
  • Participating in external employer branding activities

Required qualifications/level of education

Finished Bachelor/Masters degree

Experience in a recruitment agency as well as corporate recruitment (!) is a real plus. Candidates with only agency experience are asked not to apply.

Minimum of 6 years recruitment experience
