Store Experience Jr. Project Manager

Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Store Experience Project Manager to join our team. Working together with the Development Manager and Concept Manager, you will play a big part in the roll-out of our new store concept Topstore 2.0 across all our countries.

You will work very closely with a multitude of different stakeholders across 30 countries as well as external suppliers and agencies. Not one day will be the same. You can be supporting the concept implementation, concept development, layout compliance, photo/video shoots and so much more.

Please note that for this role, we are unable to consider candidates not currently residing in the Netherlands or about to relocate here.


  • Support the collection of key information facilitating the start of the Concept localisation (Concept, Branding and Visual Merchandising) and layout process
  • Supporting the (re)building store projects all over the world
  • Prepare the reverse planning, control layout & design timing and take action if the deadlines are in danger
  • Giving advice to relevant local stakeholders about the preparation, planning, and activities related to (re)building, maintenance and interior design of the stores
  • The internal communication and the administration of the realized projects, achieved commercial and customer benefits and the changes in the store concept
  • Taking care of the relevant reports and management information
  • Be part of the GDA (Group Design Authority): prepare relevant topics, support organization of the meetings, take notes
  • The communication to internal and external parties about store design / orders / forecasts
  • Be part of the GVEC (GrandVision Eyecare Council): prepare relevant topics, support organization of the meetings, take notes, host webinars
  • Support pilot and roll out of digital measuring devices to all OpCo’s
  • Project support for teleoptometry globally
  • Project support for eye health content implementation globally

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Business level English, both written and spoken, Spanish a bonus but not a must
  • Business studies (bachelor or master degree), or equivalent
  • Experience with managing multiple projects at the same time Experience with working with external parties / agencies e.g. furniture suppliers, flooring suppliers, lighting suppliers, store analytics companies, store design consultants etc.
  • Project management - Strong in planning, organizing and structuring
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Open to travel up to 15%, mainly in the Netherlands but some international travel may be required


Contract: In line with common market practice a 1-year (/ fixed-term) contract may initially be offered with a view to extend.

Workplace type: hybrid. We offer the option to continue working 2 days at home and 3 days at the office with a working from home bundle incl. chair and screen etc. provided to support this.

Salary: We pay competitive salaries in line with the international retail sector. We are looking forward to discussing your salary expectations during the interview.
