An exciting internship opportunity for young talent who are preparing themselves for a career in Supply Chain. Work closely with the operations team members and make meaningful contributions to projects and daily work, while learning from subject-matter experts about effective management of fulfilment processes.

You will be involved in various activities during your internship, i.e. purchase order management, supplier meetings & negotiations, creating clear work instructions as well as the claim process & resolutions.

The core responsibility of the Supply Chain Intern will be:

  • To support the daily operation in ongoing business scenarios, projects and various tasks.
  • Support individual team members in reviewing data and publishing daily reports.
  • Involve in the Purchase Order management processes and meetings with suppliers to follow up on various metrics (On Time & In Full).
  • Learn about supplier relationship management and work closely with our teams and suppliers to improve the E2E processes.
  • Support the claim process and claim resolution by communicating with various stakeholders to obtain information.
  • Support the departments housekeeping activities and learn the basics of process / quality management.
  • Prepare and review work instructions under supervision of other team members.
  • Contribute to the weekly follow-ups of delivery discrepancies leading to payment blocks.
  • Understand the business processes and support business improvements.
  • Update data & information consolidation for the ongoing projects and support where possible.

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain or technical discipline (or in final stage of studies)

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Very good Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of SAP preferable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly adaptable to new environments; with a natural ability to embrace learning and develop through experience. High level of energy and ambition to realise a positive impact
  • Flexible in approach
  • Organizing and prioritizing skills
  • Cultural awareness
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
