Supply Chain, Key Account Lead, Schiphol Area

The function is about overseeing the relationship with the OpCo (Operating Company) and does include obtaining and maintaining long term relationship by comprehending their needs. It is about identifying needs and requirements from especially OpCo side and responding to it in a timely and proper manner. The goal is to channel the communication and to contribute in establishing and achieving long term success and create the foundation in terms of trust, relationship, way of working, requirements for a smooth building of GOM among GVSC and OpCo.

GVSC Global Demand Manager

Main purpose of the role

  • Develop long term trust relationship with the OpCo
  • Serve as the link of communication between the OpCo and GVSC Schiphol
  • Secure issues from the OpCo are being logged, aligned, traced and properly responded to as per the agreed timeframes
  • Ensure the correct service is being delivered to the OpCo in a timely manner
  • Resolve any supply chain related issue faced by the OpCo and eventually deal with complaints as a result of that to maintain trust

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Daily communication with the OpCo providing all the necessary support
  • Organize weekly calls and Monthly reviews with the OpCo
  • Understand the OpCo’s OSP (OpCo Supply Planning) and make sure the plan is timely distributed from the Demand Team to the Supply Team
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities in the OSP (OpCo Supply Planning) and propose solutions
  • Coordinate the MOQ (minimum order quantity) with the markets
  • Work on the Sales Order to the OpCo
  • Daily coordination with the Logistic Provider on the deliveries making sure they are on time and in full
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Department on any issues on deliveries addressed by the OpCo (OFI – Opportunities for Improvement)
  • Process any required Return Order
  • Lease with Finance when required on scrapping and credit notes
  • Coordinate the samples process after the Selection Days and any other sample flow required
  • Keep close interaction with the QARA Team (Global Quality and Regulatory) on the quality issues and support the OpCo on the quality complaint forms and Stock Recovery/Withdraw
  • Create/use required reports for smooth daily operation
  • Keep all stakeholders informed about any important issue (from either GVSC or OpCo side)
  • Work towards achieving the monthly KPIs

Required qualifications/level of education

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
  • Located in or eligible to work in the Netherlands
