Supply Chain Price Co-ordinator

GrandVision Retail Holding B.V. was set up in 2011 with combination of two multi-national groups Pearl Europe and GrandVision into a single entity, also named GrandVision. It operates in 43 countries, with over 5600 stores. It aims to provide high-quality and affordable eye care around the world. The company has been recently quoted at the Amsterdam stock exchange (last Feb’15) and showing consistent growth (revenue in 2014 grew by 8.5% at constant exchange rate).

In order to implement its strategy and achieve more growth, more customers, stores and retail banners, a new centralized Supply Chain set up is currently under development to maximize service and optimize costs. As part of this journey, a unique and harmonized ERP system and more automated functionalities needs to be put in place as key enabler, supported by important IT infrastructure investments. According to Company ambition, a Global SC transfer pricing is implemented, and regular updates and analysis are required.

The Supply Chain Price Co-ordinator is expected to

  • Take care and co-ordinate the GrandVision Supply Chain transfer price maintenance and communication towards Operating Companies according to yearly timetable and on a daily basis whenever new SKUs are included in the GVSC portfolio;
  • Fully responsible for the GVSC transfer price set up with regards to new OpCo’s to be integrated into GVSC operating model according to the project plan. This includes, for example, activities related to master data validations in the area of pricing, price update in close contact with procurement and local countries, executing all necessary tests related to different process flows to ensure pricing is properly captured in the Intercompany billing and POs, identification and implementation of any change request in the area of pricing that might be requested (SAP ERP and BI);
  • Analysis on transfer price movements are also part of the job profile;
  • Managing one resource in charge of the daily TP update and maintenance;
  • Responsible to keep the internal GVSC Pricing guidelines update and store all relevant tax audit documentation.

The role will report to the GVSC Global Supply Chain Controller and requires a strong co-operation with GVSC Finance team, Procurement, Supply Chain operations and Global Master data.

The ideal candidate has

  • Experience in SAP
  • Accuracy and deadline focus mindset
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in X-functional teams
  • Good organization and problem-solving skills
  • A methodical and analytical approach
  • Retail or FMCG experience
  • Financial background=> graduate as preference
  • Minimum of 2/3 year of relevant working experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel within Europe, on spot when required (not on regular basis)
