GrandVision launched the Forward Grandvision program in 2018. This program targets the development and deployment of global capabilities in fulfilment, eye wear operations and customer experience. Best of breed IT solutions will underpin these capabilities, with SAP providing core ERP services including warehouse management.
The Business Applications department of GrandVision Group IT is based in Schiphol (the Netherlands) and responsible for the application management and development of all group applications. This department also supports further roll outs, operations and improvements in the application landscape of GrandVision and manages the transition of the application landscape to a hybrid landscape build on S/4HANA and best of breed (SAP and non-SAP) cloud solutions. Application support is largely outsourced to a partner.
The Solution Analyst is expected to deliver IT (SAP) expertise in the area of warehouse management, implement and maintain SAP EWM and deliver support. The analyst is responsible to safeguard the quality and robustness of solutions in his/her area. You are also ahead of the curve by bringing an understanding of the latest SAP solutions and maintaining relationships with your peers in the business departments. You will participate in projects as well as drive solutions in maintenance and areas of improvement.
