As the subject matter expert on SAP ECC you will work closely with our 3rd party provider to which our processes are outsourced, as well as our business area experts in our regional fulfilment hub in Portugal (and other locations), to ensure business needs are assessed and ensure the quality of the delivered solution.

It is an exciting time to join GrandVision as we plan to roll out solutions to other locations and deal with lots of change requests. You will be integral in shaping new solutions as part of a very international team in this newly created position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to liaise with the business area experts and maintain the relationship;
  • Advise on the possibilities of SAP ECC Supply Chain Process.
  • Assess business needs and requirements raised in the change management process;
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in existing applications, processes and procedures
  • Perform fit gap analysis, solution design and quality assessments in new deployments of template solutions;
  • Deliver functional specifications during projects and in the change management process;
  • Drive and assess quality of delivered solutions by external partners, including the offshore application support team;
  • Educate and empower business area experts with the required knowledge and skills;
  • Monitor quality of delivery in the change management process to ensure stable systems

Key skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / relevant subject, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in complex SAP environments, ideally retail, with good understanding of SAP MM/IM and LE functions,
  • Experience in intercompany flows of goods is an advantage
  • Solid functional knowledge in MM, SD, LE including (E)WM.
  • Strong functional knowledge of supply chain management and warehouse processes preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Agile practitioner, usage of Jira/ Confluence suite
  • The application support of SAP applications have been outsourced to 3rd parties so you excel at interpreting business needs into changes in the solution architecture for manufacturing.
