Technical Architect, Global eCommerce

Member of an architecture team driving digital transformation across 30 retail brands 44 countries. Based in Amsterdam Schiphol.

What will you do:

  • Provide end-to-end ownership of digital solutions delivered to meet requirements, delivering the architecture
  • Required to realize both functional and non-functional capabilities that aligns to the overall architecture.
  • Ability to understand and further explain complex technical concepts
  • Provide leadership of the solution implementation, embracing modern cloud native concepts, agile, DevOps delivery and the use of enterprise cloud platforms
  • Provide oversight to project to ensure alignment to security architecture and correct consideration of cyber security has been factored into designs

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on programming experience with: NODE JS, JAVA
  • Hands on experience in designing & developing Microservices based on headless architecture, domain driven design
  • Hands-on experience in integration technologies
  • Hands-on experience in designing Cloud solutions based on enterprise cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
  • Hands-on challenging the developers to bridge the gap between the architecture and codebase level implementation
  • GraphQL as well as REST API
  • DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
  • eCommerce & CMS experience (e.g. commerceTools, Bloomreach)
  • Search engines (e.g. Algolia search and merchandising)
