Transfer Pricing Manager, Schiphol, Amsterdam Area

In this role you are managing the area of Transfer Pricing end-to-end: from transfer pricing framework (re)design to execution on the documentation strategy. You will have alead-involvement in the transfer pricing processes across central and local operations. Defining, implementing and monitoring all transfer pricing related processes and policies. And since we are a company in transition: embed continuously evolving business models in TP frameworks.

Main purpose of the role

You'll be joining the central tax team of currently three tax specialists and will be working closely with all areas of the business across the company.

You ensure that business changes are embedded in Transfer Pricing frameworks as well as that appropriate actions are undertaken to mitigate identified transfer pricing- and tax risks.

More specific your tasks are to:

  • Develop the Transfer Pricing operational design for the GrandVision central activities and cross-border projects. Define and embed in intercompany transactions and maintain overviews of the transactional flows
  • Coordinate, develop and ensure adherence to the processes, policies and procedures relating to (quarterly) Transfer Pricing procedures across HQ finance teams
  • Lead the overall transfer pricing documentation process and ensure that (local) requirements are met (in accordance to OECD guidelines and BEPS action point 13. Masterfile, local files and CBCR obligations).
  • Monitor that local transfer pricing documentation requirements are met in all countries. Manage the accurate and timely preparation of global template TP documentation.
  • Implements process improvements, including the cost effective management of resources.
  • Monitor, communicate and act upon relevant international Transfer Pricing developments from EU, OECD guidelines or else (implement adjustments where required).
  • Provide expert support and input to tax controls and reporting, including ETR management / tax risk management, and management of uncertain tax positions
  • Resolve situations of double taxation, advice on tax treaty applications as well as advice on withholding tax matters in close collaboration with your colleagues from the tax team and the broader finance community.
  • Support in tax audits or dispute resolution.

Required qualifications/level of education

  • University education in Economics, Tax Law, Finance, Business or Accounting
  • Solid experience in global transfer pricing matters (min. 8/10 years) in large multinationals and/or Big 4.
  • Expert knowledge of international transfer pricing and tax law, as well as functional analysis and transactional global benchmarking
  • Experience with handling international corporate tax matters across a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English; multiple language ability an advantage
