1 platform – 30+ retail brands – 40+ countries

As a part of GrandVision’s cool new global Customer Experience & Digital (CX&D) team, you will take part in defining and driving a ‘true transformation’. Be prepared for an interesting journey of implementing customer experience led omni-channel transformation across 40+ countries, 30+ retail brands, 7,095 brick-n-mortar stores, 60 websites and 36,000 employees – at the intersection of retail, fashion and healthcare.

You’ll be responsible for UX Research, and work together with Designers, Developers and Product Owners.

Once here you will...

  • Responsible for user research - Plan, design, and conduct up-front product opportunity research, on-going usability tests, surveys, define long-term user research needs, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Designers, Product Owners, functional leads), and external stakeholders to build insights, proof-of-concept input, and prototypes.
  • Create effective and powerful reports, with captivating summaries using video ‘nuggets’, data, etc...
  • Overview and quality control all internal research - both qualitative and quantitative
  • Introduce new methods that will be useful to GrandVision UX Team
  • Know when a research project can take time and when a quick but powerful delivery is preferable
  • Design our systems for international / translated research and research repository
  • Take ownership of our research initiatives and collaborate with partner contracts and relationships
  • Oversee the research activities - Defining best research practices and introduce new methods that will be useful to GrandVision UX Team

Relevant experience & Mindset

  • Digital eCommerce Experience, preferably with a portion of that in-house
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: ability to initiate work yourself and proactively improve processes, competencies and tools.
  • 5+ years’ experience working on digital platforms and products.
  • A world - class portfolio of research practice across the spectrum of design
  • Proven experience in linking different workstreams and driving them forward in unison
  • Able to inspire colleagues and the wider business with working practices or ideas
  • Hold yourself accountable for deliveries between multiple people
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including relevant Heads of/Directors
  • Able to mentor or manage other team member
