Reports to

Global Lead Data Science & Analytics

Main purpose of the role

As an Analytics Manager, you will support GrandVision’s global businesses through the effective collection, processing and activation of data. We expect you to ensure quality and continuity of the full range of Data Science & Analytics services. Your work will be done in close collaboration with global and local teams to provide comprehensive analytics support to our business. Among your responsibilities will be the execution of our analytics support and projects and management of external partners in support of your objectives.

Once here you will...

Analytics and Media Implementation

  • Measurement plan development
  • Tag management setup, data layering and custom scripting
  • Media tagging and conversion management
  • Creating documentation and developer guidelines
  • Coordinating local market and 3rd party agency stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of analytics, anticipating and resolving issues frequently encountered with complex multi-tool or multi-account set-ups

Data Collection & Enrichment

  • Developing, maintaining, and evangelizing a KPI framework aligned with business objectives and maturity, ensuring adherence to a common measurement vision
  • Identifying and prioritizing data collection improvement areas (web, apps) and driving continuous improvement
  • Ensuring the quality and continuity of data collection and processing
  • Identify, analyze and resolve tracking & data quality issues
  • Implement and maintain best-practices in analytics implementations
  • Manage data integrations and connections, including coordination with 3rd parties

Support

  • Coordinate local, global, and 3rd party stakeholders to resolve larger scale, structural analytics issues
  • Govern global and local tag management setups and analytics configurations
  • Anticipate medium and long term changes to the analytics environment and build & action contingency plans
  • Coordinate/manage 3rd party partners in:
    • User and application management
    • Creation of media audiences

Data Visualisation and Analysis

  • Defining key dashboarding needs (Data Studio, Domo), and coordinating production of both basic and advanced reporting
  • Facilitating basic and advanced analysis and translating into next steps and business results
  • We expect you to stay up to date on developments within the industry, to share best practices and contribute team knowledge.

Relevant experience & Mindset

  • Academic level of education (Bachelor or Master).
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in a data-driven working environment.
  • Experience in analytics implementations in complex environments.
  • Verifiable knowledge and experience of Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager 360.
  • Verifiable knowledge and experience of Google Marketing Platform administration and configuration.
  • Verifiable knowledge and experience of marketing tracking pixels like Floodlight and Facebook.
  • Familiarity with enterprise marketing technology like Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360 and Campaign Manager.
  • Familiarity with website optimization tools like Hotjar, Optimizely and Google Optimize.
  • Familiarity with Data Platforms like Big Query, Google Cloud, mParticle etc.
  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (JavaScript, CSS and HTML) and database techniques (REST-APIs, SQL, No-SQL)
